Today it is my GREAT Privilege today to introduce you to one of the coolest people I have ever met... Her name is Lindsey, but for the rest of our time together, we'll just call her "Feel Healthy Girl!" Lindsey has always been athletic and health conscious, however it wasn't until after she married her long time Sweetie Justin and they began the journey toward parenthood that she really evolved into Feel Healthy Girl. So, I hope you've got your coffee or... well... maybe today we'll do some delicious tea (you'll find out why a little later), because we are about to have some Girl time!  I am sipping on a delicious brew of fresh orange and ginger, which I sweetened with some delicious, locally harvested wildflower honey! ...and it is GOOD!  So, go on - get your beverage and maybe snuggle up with a warm blanket and above all Please ENJOY!

1st Day in the Gym... Made me Pregnant!

HA!  Did I get your attention???  Good!  I'm laughing as I type, over the comedic absurdity of this title... However, in truth... this WAS my first day back to the gym in nearly 5 years.  Seriously?!?!  Hard to believe it's been that long... And, in a (I am not actually growing a human at this present moment) kind of a way... it did make me pregnant!  

I DO believe and I am NOT a Vampire!

Happy Tuesday to YOU!  So... it's a nearly Noon here in our little mountain town and I am sitting down with you over a lovely glass of Super Berry juice (in my fancy glass of course) and the worlds BEST tortilla chip!  Have you ever even seen these before???  When my husband brought them home, I was admittedly skeptical as I like my foods to remain true to their category... or so I thought!  This chip with some fresh salsa is very much like one of our favorite festive treats where we serve some sort of salty chip or cracker with a dip made from Harry and David's sweet pepper relish and cream cheese - DIVINE!  Anyhow, this is minus a few of "those" calories and nonetheless delicious!

I have been mulling around in my mind about a dozen or so things to write about (which is kinda how it goes), and I think I'll just give a quick update on our year to date.  I mean we're EIGHT DAYS into this thing... We should have something to report, right???  Well, it just so happens I do!

This year has a theme... Can you guess what it is?

Well, do you have your list?  Have you checked it twice?  You know what?  I have NEVER stuck to a New Year's resolution in all of my life... FACT!  I have made a few and then one year, I decided it was dumb to commit to something you knew you'd never do and then you'd have to pile on yet one more layer on the guilty sod you walked... feeling ever more disappointed in the person you perceived yourself to be (the person only you knew about).  Anyhow, that guilt never does anyone any good, so some time ago, I stopped making commitments I couldn't keep... (or thought I couldn't)  I have discovered something of late, however, and I am going to start making some commitments.  Some things that I know I cannot keep... Some things, I will only do through Divine Empowerment... And you know what?  I feel a different sense this time... a different level of anticipation... because this time I KNOW there's no way I can make it without connecting daily to a source that far outweighs anything I can deliver on my own and this year is gonna ROCK!!! 

This year has a theme... Can you guess what it is???  I'm happy to share it with you!  This is the year, I make the commitment to be the person I've always dreamed I would be... this is the year I do all the things I've only dreamed up in my head... this is the year I become - this is the year that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!  It's been said: Whatever you think you are, you're right!  Whatever you think you're not, you're right!  This year I am going to change the way that I think... and if I think it - I am going to do it.  I cannot wait to see what has happened in 2013!  2012 has been incredible!!!  My husband has soared in his career!!!  We purchased our first home!  It was exactly what we wanted... AMAZING!  We've made new and wonderful friends! We've gotten planted in a church that is growing!  We are connecting in ways we never dreamed would happen... We are living in the favor of God in such a way that it is literally blowing our mind... and I have a feeling it's just the beginning!  You know why?  Because I want to make a difference!  I want to change the landscape that I see in front of me!  I want to see more people enjoying life, LIVING, sharing, loving, planting, growing and making a difference in their world!  I have decided if I don't like what I see around me - I'm gonna change it!!!  What about you?  Are you going to let another year go by looking at the same crap you hated last year and letting it stay the same for another 12 months???  Or are you going to DO SOMETHING!!!!  ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Just get MOVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I've got some things I want to see CHANGE and I am going to take this bull by the horns, so to speak and wrestle it to the ground and I am going to challenge every opposition to the dream of heaven for this planet and if I get scraped up in the process, it only means I'm DOING something, so... Bring IT!  I cannot WAIT to see what God does in and through me to bring the glory of Heaven to planet Earth!!!  What is He gonna do in and through you???  Stop Waiting!!!  There's NO MORE TIME!!!  DO IT NOW!!!!!  I love ya!!!  Merry Christmas!  And HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This is YOUR GIFT!!!!!!!!!!!!!  OPEN IT!!!!!!!!!!!  USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Let's meet back here this time next year and share together what God has done!!!!!  What WE have done!!!!!  NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!  NOTHING!!!!!

Just a Treat!

In light of yesterday's post... I thought this was a sweet treat!  Sometimes pursuing what your heart knows is from heaven can seem arduous at best and darn right obfuscatory at worse... See, we can usually handle difficult when we know what we're doing, but without clear direction and actionable steps we tend to give up before we even begin!

Sometimes You've Gotta Choose Your Battles...

Ever heard someone say: "You've gotta know when to choose your battles?"  Usually in reference to child rearing, right?  Like... Your kid can't stand eating broccoli, so you decide to toss it in the food processor, throw it in with some other ingredients so that when he/she eats said broccoli, they're completely oblivious and no war was waged in the process?   Yep... gotta choose the battle.

Christmas is here... Bringing good cheer... to young and old... meek and the bold...

How much do I LOVE that song?!?!?!  How much do I love Christmas?!?!?!  Like LOVE!!!  What about you?  Why do you love Christmas?  I totally enjoy hearing people's Christmas tales... It's kind of like people watching in the mall... only better!  (Oh, come on now!  You know you people watch too!) Hehe...
